With the 2010 wedding season approaching, I’ve been finishing up album and print orders from last season and I was reminded how lucky I am to call Vermont home. I try not to take it for granted, and I credit the wonderful couples and the amazing wedding locations with reminding me how beautiful it is here. I wanted to share some of what makes this state special by featuring photographs from my favorite wedding venues from around Vermont.
Shelburne Farms on beautiful Lake Champlain is right at the top of the list.
The farm began as a model agricultural estate in 1886 by Dr. William Seward and Lila Vanderbilt Webb. Today, the farm is a non-profit environmental education center and a National Historic Landmark.
